Update on Eric - Dialysis Began

Eric began dialysis yesterday. It’s a big transition, and

we’re still finding our footing — juggling appointments, adjusting to the new routine, and learning more each day. Honestly, it feels like we’re back in kindergarten — not even sure what questions to ask yet. But the nurses and staff at the dialysis center have been so kind and patient, gently guiding us through each step.

Amid all this, some brighter news: Max received his dorm assignment at Syracuse and is getting ready to register for classes. He’s also job-hunting for an on-campus position — staying busy and focused, which has been a welcome distraction for us all.

We’re taking things one day at a time. There’s a lot we still don’t know, but we’re not alone. The support around us continues to steady our steps — and for that, we’re holding onto hope.
